Colon ozone therapy involves cleansing the colon with ozone-enriched water.
Prior to ozone cleansing, the walls of the colon must be free from waste. Ozone therapy is, therefore, performed following full cleansing of the colon by means of one or more sessions of Colon Hydrotherapy.
On entering into contact with the wall of the colon, the ozone starts to perform therapeutic functions, at a cellular level and by disinfecting the colon.
Many therapists use this technique to complement colon hydrotherapy and increase its therapeutic benefits.
